Our journey begins

Welcome to our journey! As the Ratcliffe family from Wanaka, New Zealand, we're Bevan, Keri, and our two young children, Koa (6) and Bodhi (3). We're wanting to take the leap from exploring inland waterways to sailing the world, hoping to secure a partnership with a catamaran company along the way. Join us as we share our experiences of living, learning, and growing towards our ambitious dream.

Three amazing moments define our journey so far: quality family time, continuous learning, and embracing the spirit of adventure on the water. These pillars guide us as we navigate experiences on the water and life together. It's about creating lasting memories and growing as a family.

Taking the leap

The trickiest part? Leaving our normal life for the ocean with limited sailing experience. The idea is incredibly daunting. We are learning the importance of preparation, resilience, and trusting in our ability to adapt. It's a big step, but one we're taking together, one wave at a time.
